Concrete and Concrete Staining Workshop
At Rancho de Caldera, Chiriqui
Friday August 22nd and Friday August 29th

Concrete is used widely in Panama for all construction. Concrete is also a great medium for crafts and artwork. In this workshop we will learn how to mix concrete, do repello, make concrete stepping stones with various designs and patterns, acid stain concrete, and color concrete with dyes. Tuesday, July 1st 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Project: Introduction to Peyote Stitch

Cost: $35 (includes supplies)
Using seed beads & beading thread we will stitch together a beautiful Native American style keychain. Once you learn this technique your imagination with design will go wild!

Thursday, July 3rd 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Project: Pearl Knotting

Cost: $25 + $15 for supplies
Create a beautiful pearl necklace using the same techniques they use at Tiffany’s! You will be able to choose from a variety of colors of freshwater pearls and different designs.

Saturday, July 5th 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Project: Loom Bangle Bracelet

Cost: $45 + $12 for supplies
In this class you will learn how to create beautiful designs using graph paper, how to warp the loom and finishing techniques to complete an amazing colorful project. (more…)
